Touch Movement 空流

Performer in white dress surrounded by audience under red lighting during Touch Movement interactive dance performance at Fondation Fiminco Paris

Touch Movement 空流 explores the irreversible trans-formation of the body through the experience of becoming a mother. Within the shifting relationship between body and space, and in the subtle, intimate currents that move between people and things, the work seeks to hold onto certain forms—forms that can still be preserved, examined, and translated into tangible existence.

The piece engages with feelings of grief, shame, and the quiet erosion of identity, transforming these once-intangible perceptions into physical traces—sculptures that feel cold, distant, almost without emotion. How do we define these objects? Are they a way of preserving something that extends beyond the dance itself, or the remnants left behind after emotional release?

Using millimeter-wave radar sensors, the work invites the audience into a performance where the relationships between performer, space, sound, and spectators are captured through data, creating a shared experience shaped by movement and its invisible echoes.
